Although we have formal learning sessions for both new and experienced staff members, the most important “lessons” that you will learn are those taught to you by the senior members of our staff who you will be working with in our team-based environment. The most important “mentored learning” comes from working alongside Mars & Co’s senior professionals. Senior Consultants, Project Managers and all levels of Vice Presidents of the firm actively engage with team members in on-the-job coaching and training in the application of strategic concepts and analytical techniques developed and used by the firm.

Because we are a generalist strategy consulting firm and offer our services to only one client in any vertical market we create the opportunity for you to learn a great deal about many businesses. You will learn to solve business problems in many situations regardless of industry or geography.
We assign our new staff to a sequence of projects that help them grow and develop consulting and business skills by exposing them to a variety of industries, business problems and analytical techniques.
INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Because of the global nature of our firm and our clients, many of our projects involve teams from multiple offices and there are many opportunities for international assignments at client sites or other Mars & Co offices. This is a great way for you to learn about different cultures and business practices. Even within each office we have international diversity because of both our recruiting efforts and our inter-office assignments.
